What Else is Trending?

       Outside of colors and themes, there are so many other fun decor trends we expect to see in 2023! Here are some of our favorite things we can’t wait to bring to life this year: 

• Dramatic Ceiling Décor – this trend has come and gone a lot over the years, and in 2023 we will see a lot of dramatic ceiling drapes, lighting, and floral displays both indoors and out! It’s a truly jaw dropping edition to your ceremony or reception that will have your guests talking about the décor for months to come! 

• Statement Aisles – say goodbye to the traditional straight aisle of weddings past and hello to the latest “S” shaped aisle! This stunning aisle shape is extremely unique, but also makes for a more suspenseful wait on that “first look” moment between the couple. We LOVE this look for a ceremony, and it is definitely drama, drama, drama! 

• Intimate Ceremonies – micro weddings, spontaneous ceremonies, and elopements are becoming more and more preferred by couples. We are seeing a lot of intimate elopement ceremonies and more elaborate after parties or receptions planned for a later date. This can be a huge money saver for a bride or groom on a budget. It also makes that moment of 2 becoming 1 a bit more special. You’re sharing your love privately, just between the two of you, and then celebrating with loved ones after. 
• Charcuterie Boards & Grazing Tables – throw out the typical cocktail hour apps being passed around on trays and get yourself a Grazing Table instead. It is the perfect way to allow your guests multiple options and portions that they can pick and choose from. Plus, who doesn’t love the look of a beautifully decorative food display? 

• Speakeasy Vibes – it comes as no surprise to us that hitting the 2020’s brought us back to the Roaring 20’s party style with glam, bold colors, and speakeasy bar party themes returning. Bring out the Gatsby inspired flapper dresses and champagne towers in 2023, because the Roaring 20’s are back!

Trendy Arbors & Arches

• Boho is once again leading the way in wedding design trends. Lots of feathers and flower crown vibes are trending for arbors. If you’re doing a woodsy outdoor wedding, a boho arbor would be the perfect backdrop for you.

• Tropical arbors are an extremely popular choice too, even where sustainable weddings are concerned. Lots of palm leaves and tropical greens up against a Driftwood Arbor sounds like a tropical paradise to me!

• Banners and Signs are starting to make their debut as an alternative to arbors. We are seeing Greenery walls with the couple’s new name sign lit up and lots of florals in the wall as a ceremony backdrop. It is a very unique look and will definitely stand out among the crowd this wedding season.

Trendy Lighting 

• Nothing screams whimsical and magical like curtain string lights! They are a perfect backdrop for a ceremony, sweetheart table, photobooth, cake table, and much more! You can even incorporate this into your celestial theme to add a “falling star” look to your wedding. 

• Chandeliers are on full display in 2023 weddings. Couples are attaching them to their arbors for an added glam, or as a focal point for reception ceiling décor. They are a great way to add in a little pizzaz to your wedding day.

• Neon Signs are one of the most popular wedding trends to date. Over the last several years we have seen these pop up more and more at weddings, bridal showers, bachelorette parties, and so much more. That isn’t changing in 2023 as more and more couples are ordering or renting these custom signs for their wedding day!
