At The Wedding Shop, we know how important your photos are to help preserve the memory of your special day. Our photographers specialize in wedding and couples photography, and go above and beyond to make sure your photos bring back all the feels from your event!
Our photography services are available at an hourly rate, so you can tailor your service to get only the coverage you need to stay within your budget. We never limit the number of photos we take or provide to you. We take as many as we can to capture all the feels of your special day and edit as many as we fall in love with. All photography services include an online gallery WITH a print release for your high- resolution images. That means you can download your images and print them on your own, without needing to purchase additional prints or copyrights from us! Although we do offer professional quality prints and canvases, you are free to print with your own favorite print lab.

Shanna Magnuson, Photographer

Panama City Beach Wedding Photographer

Shanna went to school for graphic design and photography at the University of Northwestern Minnesota. She had a great opportunity to photograph for the number one chapel in Las Vegas (Chapel of the Flowers) and photographed over 1,000 weddings in 5 states. She lived in New Mexico and Virginia before settling down in the beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida. When not behind the camera, you'll find Shanna with her two puppies, at the gym, or the beach!

I moved to Panama City Beach Florida in 2018 and absolutely love living my dream here as a wedding photographer! When I became a single mom, my son was just 6 months old and my daughter was 3 years old. I wanted to capture every memory I could while raising two babies on my own, so I picked up a camera and started taking their pictures. As my babies grew, so did my love for photography. As family members passed over the years, it made me realize even more how important it was to preserve cherished memories of loved ones through photos. I make sure my clients know how important it is to have these memories digitally, because you just never know what the future holds. Pictures are priceless memories that can last a lifetime. Now, I have 8 precious grandchildren — and just like when my kids were little, I constantly take pictures because I want them to have a lifetime of memories to look back on and remember all the fun they had growing up. 

I love to photograph my clients in an authentic way. We’ll pose for some shots, but most importantly, I want you to have fun, feel carefree, and enjoy yourself. In the sand or in the water, it doesn’t matter! Whether you are looking to capture milestones or memories, I’ll be sure to document your story as told by you.

He started as an intern at a church, shot a bunch of weddings and commercials, and then launched his own business in 2018. Now, he's enjoying a career role in marketing and videography at a company he loves here in Panama City, FL. Even with his day job, Jayson still loves filming weddings on weekends. He's been happily married to his wife, Alexandria, for five years. After briefly moving to another city for a couple of years, Jayson and Alex choose to stay in Panama City, surrounded by family and friends.
